I have just designed this tatoo for a friend on flickr, his masterplan is to cover his body in designs from artists designers and illustrators he admires. Inspired project, can't wait to see the tattoo. Check it out here

It gives an insight into what the term origional means in relation to design. Have a read here
Single Speed.
Whilst bombing through the traffic this morning on my rattling old specialised push bike, I started dreaming of a new machine. I'm not into this fixed revolution going on in cities at the moment. That said the gears gave up long ago on my old bone shaker, thus prompting me to do away with them and go single speed.
whilst searching on flickr I came accross this image; a handsome single speed with the beautiful amsterdamn in the background.

Day of the dead skull
I was chatting to a guy the other day in the new Apple store in Bristol. He had the best tatoo I have seen; on his hand. It was an outline of a Mexican sugar skull, in stunning scarlett. The Mexicans make decorated skulls from sugar with their deceased loved ones names to cellebrate the day of the dead. I drew this as a response to this tattoo. I also found this great online shop in Brighton, check them out. Sacred Stitches
